This practice, in the heart of Winter is all about DEEP REST. An opportunity to dive into the depths of your body, and the comforting loving vibrations of mantra and crystal bowl sound healing to support you. Through rejuvenating slow flow and yin yoga, pranayama breath work and yoga nidra and meditation we will take you on a journey to the core of your being. Surrounded by candles we invite you to connect to your INNER FIRE, as we mark and celebrate the darkest day and longest night and the turning point of the year as we head towards the LIGHT.
The Winter Solstice is an annual astronomical event that marks the mid point of Winter, creating the shortest day and the longest night of the year. This mid point of Winter has been a time people have gathered together to celebrate and tune in to the energy of the earth and the universe for thousands of years.
In this practise we will be using yoga postures, breathwork, chanting and meditation to align our bodies, warm our souls and connect to the light within us that fires us. A beautiful way to celebrate not only the cosy darkness of winter but also the lengthening of the days to come.
