Shakti Circle- For Men & Women
A night of Powerful Yogic Practices and Meditations for men and women to understand the Divine Feminine and learn techniques to balance this energy in our lives and tap into the potency of shakti within ourselves.
Shakti is the word that describes the Feminine principle energy in the Universe. Going far beyond what our culture has described to us as feminine- Shakti is the creative power behind all existence. This creative energy was described by the ancient yogis as being feminine in nature, but this energy resides in everyone, as there is a natural androgyny in all humans. In Western Culture there are few opportunities for both men and women to experience the Divine Feminine in its full and expansive nature, so this Shakti Circle is a rare practice where both men and women meet to drop into these Tantric practices.
In this circle we will together learn more about what exactly the Divine Feminine is, how we can experience it in the world around us and how we can connect to and make peace with it within ourselves. Through breath work, movement, meditation and mantra we connect in to the creative and powerful energy of Shakti, learning to cultivate it in our lives as a way to transform, uplift and liberate ourselves with the supportive power of the universe.
How our night will unfold:
Initial mediation and discussion on Shakti
Opening introduction, sitting in Circle.
Practice- combining movement and breath work to connect to Shakti and this powerful and creative energy within ourselves.
Shakti Circle, guided practices, tea and snacks.
