Our annual community event A Space For Connection has attracted over 700 people since its inception in 2017. This year, again, we are creating this incredible collective positive energy on the 26th of January- Australia day to some, but a day of mourning for many others.
To acknowledge this day, we will practice yoga and meditation to radiate with the intention of creating a practice of love, peace and respect.
This community gathering is about Connection: to ourselves, to each other, and also to the land. Sian Pascale of the Light Collective, Abbey Fox of Reiki and Wellness, will be guiding this morning, supported by Mark Cedric from Inner Soul Sounds on the hand pan as well a team of incredible volunteers.
Together we will be sharing a practice open to all levels of:
- Meditation and stillness
- Yoga & Vinyasa flows
- Kundalini yoga
- Breathwork and Pranayama
- Sound Healing and Relaxation
- Hands on Reiki Healing
We will lift our vibration, allow for deep reflection and also create a Space for new beginnings. This practice is for all ages and levels.
This event is a chance to connect with conscious like minded individuals in a loving and meaningful way. Children and families are welcome!
After our practice there will also be a free Kalaripayatu- South Indian Martial Arts demonstration by Ramona from Kalari Healing.
And also please no rubbish! We will be meditating and yoga-ing, flash mob style, no trace of our practise (but our good vibes) left behind!
We work with lots of volunteers, including yoga teachers, reiki healers and yoga students. If you would like to get involved in some way and connect with students in the Bayside area, or would like to help on the day with set up, we would love to have you!
