Divine Feminine - Urban Goddess Morning Retreat
In this practise we explore the strength and power of KALI. This goddess is an aspect of the creative force of the entire world, that you can feel within you and recognise around you. When Kali Ma sweeps through your life its inevitable cause is for growth and transformation. Like a bush fire she can destroy everything in her path- always with the intention of new life new growth. We will be working with this idea of how we can use a strong yoga practise to release and destroy our own illusions and destructive habits, in order to make space for more lightness freedom and beauty.
What is it to feel a connection to an idea of the sacred feminine, in the world around you and to find access to it within yourself?
We would love for you to bring yourself, a friend, mum, sister, daughter or any special female in your life to explore your Divine Feminine together.
This retreat allows you to be immersed in the yoga practises and meditations that connect you to the Divine Feminine. Through the myths of the goddesses, we can begin to understand a concept that is vast and expansive- going far beyond what our culture has prescribed as being 'female' or 'feminine.'
The morning will be in two sessions, stopping mid way for a delicious nourishing breakfast. Held in the most beautiful location, St Kilda Life Saving Club, overlooking the beach.
The morning will include:
- yoga and energy practises around the goddesses
- delicious, nourishing breakfast and teas
- meditations on the feminine
- crystal bowls and sound healing
- sharing circles and sacred space
The women who participate in these sessions are a mix of ages and are all at different stages of their lives and their yoga practises.
